FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic?

It is an area within chiropractic that a chiropractor can specialize in. Atlas Orthogonal is a system that uses safe and painless spinal correction to heal injuries. A Doctor of Chiropractic becomes an Atlas Orthogonist Chiropractor by completing six years of medical education and going through extensive training with the Atlas Orthogonal.

  • How is it different from other chiropractic care?

This is a painless method that does not use adjustments or spinal manipulation. During spinal correction with the Atlas Orthogonal, most patients feel very little or nothing.

  • What should I expect after my first spinal correction?

There are a variety of possible things you may feel. These symptoms are a good sign that the nervous system is responding well to the correction. To heal, the body must go through changes. These changes can present themselves as:

    • Lessening of Symptoms
    • Feeling Tired or Sleepy
    • Muscles Stiffness and/or Soreness

Don't worry if the pain moves from one part of the body to another. This is a normal part of the healing process after using an atlas orthogonal machine for your chiropractic care. However, keep your doctor of chiropractic informed of any changes. The amount of damage will determine your recovery time.
